Wildschool Director
Heather Wells
Hello, I am the new Director of Wildschool (Grades K-3) and it’s nice to meet you! I am a seasoned teacher of 10 years and certified in K-6th elementary education with a reading specialization. During my last 5 years of teaching, I became department chair of my third-grade team and mentored several new teachers. I also helped launch a successful Christian school at a church in Lancaster, PA.
In 2022 I resigned from my full-time teaching job to have the opportunity to pour into my own children. My husband and I are blessed with three daughters (Scarlett-7, Savannah-5, Shelby-3). I am thankful to be able to spend more quality time homeschooling my children and also be able to support other homeschool families. In addition to directing and teaching at Wildschool, I teach multi-sensory, phonics-based reading/tutoring to Wildschool children and the local homeschool community.
As a family, we value our faith in God, a healthy holistic lifestyle, appreciating God’s creation, being a part of our church community and striving to be His hands and feet. I am honored to have been a part of Wildschool since its launch two years ago and I am looking forward to seeing it continue to bring God glory in Year Three. I hope to encourage each child to know their precious and unique identity in God. It’s my prayer that each child at Wildschool draws closer to the Creator as they are immersed in his beautiful creation. My vision is that each child that attends Wildschool feels “wild and free to be how God made them to be” by embracing their childhood to the fullest through play, wonder, and adventure.
